We are a consultancy that helps foodservice businesses adopt a more circular business model. We do this through assessing the business, and providing customized solutions and resources to reduce your environmental impact, improve employee wellbeing and increase your profits.
A circular business model is a ‘closed loop’ system. The focus of this model is to eliminate waste in the business wherever possible. Through the lens of a circular business, we define waste as any by-product that leaves the ‘system’. In a circular model, the focus is to design waste out of the system before its even produced. Or alternatively, to create a new use for the waste that’s generated- think food scraps going towards biofuel and heat from refrigeration units circling into heat lamps.
The best part of a circular business model is that it’s also incredibly profitable. Essentially, it’s a way of operating that focusses on improving efficiencies, and the more you reduce waste of all forms, the more you hold onto the money tied up in those wasted resources.
Experience
We both have experience in multiple restaurant and foodservice settings. This, coupled with our research gives us a well-rounded perspective.
